Founder Robokanya
Manish has over 25 years of experience, of which 17 years were with banks including JP Morgan, Deutsche Bank and Royal Bank of Scotland. After leaving the banking industry in 2010, he co-founded Mount Nathan in Singapore, which was involved in investment activity, fund management, and physical agro-commodity trading.
His last role in banking was Head of Markets, Singapore, and Head of Financial Institutions Sales (Asia Pacific) for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). Prior to that he held several senior level positions in the Global Markets business for Deutsche Bank in Singapore and at JP Morgan in London.
His exposure has included Private Equity, Private Debt, Real Estate, Asset Management, Hedge Funds, and managing a physical commodity trading business. He has held board positions, both executive and non-executive, in private companies. He has extensive experience in start-up and PE investments in the primary and secondary stages, including managing complex exits. He has also set up and run pooled investment vehicles, including hedge funds and LLPs.
His passions include tinkering with tech, robotics, and AI, and he spends a lot of time learning and teaching to feed these passions. Manish co-founded the RoboKanya Initiative- where we take programming, robotics, and AI to underprivileged children.
